Goodwood Bakeshop is a community bakery creating delicious baked goods using seasonal ingredients and traditional methods. Located in at 297 Marickville Road, Marrickville, NSW we are open Thursday to Sunday from 7am to 2pm or until sold out.
Goodwood Bakeshop was started by a couple who have previously worked at Staple, Bourke Street Bakery, The Bread & Butter Project and Brickfields who decided to take their wealth of experience to open a boutique and special bakery for the community. Jamie Goodin and Alex Alewood (hence, Goodwood) have more than 20 years experience between them, having met at Bourke Street Bakery when they worked there together. Since then, they have built their love of baking and each other, getting married and creating the Goodwood Bakeshop.
Goodwood Bakeshop opened in 2021 and has been become a popular spot for the locals, and people who travel from all over Sydney to get in quick and buy their favourite snacks. And it IS important to get in quick, because we often sell out due to the evergrowing popularity.
